Grammy Awards 2015 realizam-se este domingo
Sam Smith é o mais nomeado deste ano, mas Beyoncé quebrou o recorde de mulher com mais nomeações. Recordes à parte, há ainda actuações de John Legend e Beyoncé (do filme “Selma”), Katy Perry (uma semana depois do Super Bowl), AC/DC, Kanye West, Rihanna, Paul McCartney e muito mais.
O britânico Sam Smith foi nomeado para seis categorias, seguido por Pharrell Williams e Ed Sheeran com cinco nomeações cada. Já a cantora norte-americana Beyoncé quebrou o recorde de mulher com mais nomeações nos Grammy, tendo ao todo sido nomeada 48 vezes. Beyoncé ultrapassou a detentora do recorde anterior, a cantora country Dolly Parton.
Em palco, Katy Perry vai cantar “By The Grace Of God”, retirada do último álbum “Prism”, uma semana após a actuação no Super Bowl Halftime Show. John Legend vai cantar “Glory”, do filme “Selma”, e Beyoncé vai preceder o cantor acompanhada de um coro de gospel. Estão ainda confirmados os AC/DC, Pharrell Williams, Usher, Ariana Grande, Miranda Lambert, Madonna, Lady Gaga e Tony Bennett, Jessie J, Ed Sheeran, Sia, Sam Smith e a recente tripla Kanye West, Rihanna e Paul McCartney com “FourFiveSeconds”.
A apelidada “maior noite da música” vai para o ar na cadeia de televisão norte-americana CBS, em HD, com Ken Ehrlich como produtor executivo e Louis J. Horvitz como director do evento. Esta é a 67.ª edição dos Grammy Awards.
