Para “Eat The Elephant” Maynard James Keenan e o guitarrista Billy Howerdel juntaram-se ao guitarrista James Iha (Smashing Pumpkins), ao baterista Jeff Friedl (Puscifer, The Beta Machine), e ao baixista Matt McJunkins (Eagles of Death Metal, The Beta Machine). A produção ficou a cargo de Dave Sardy.
