Teenage Time Killers, supergrupo com alguns grandes nomes da cena alternativa, anunciou detalhes do LP de estreia. Intitulado “Greatest Hits Vol. 1”, o álbum chega dia 31 de Julho pela Rise Records.
Inicialmente liderados pelo baterista/vocalista dos Corrosion Of Conformity, Reed Mullin, em conjunto com o guitarrista Mick Murphy (The Birds of Satan, My Ruin) e o produtor John “Lou” Lousteau, Teenage Time Killers apresenta agora um verdadeiro panteão de pesos pesados do rock: Dave Grohl e Pat Smear (Foo Fighters), Nick Oliveri (ex Kyuss e Queens of the Stone Age, Mondo Generator), Stephen O’Malley (Sunn O))) e Burning Witch), Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Stone Sour), Jello Biafra (The Dead Kennedys), Mike Williams (EyeHateGod) ou Greg Anderson (Goatsnake), entre muitos outros.
O álbum contém 20 músicas, com um punhado de covers, como a música dos Rudimentary Peni que dá o nome ao grupo. Os instrumentos foram gravados no 606 Studios, de Dave Grohl, em Northridge, Califórnia. Confere em baixo a “Hung out to Dry”.
