Grammy Awards 2022: Os Grandes Vencedores da Noite
Remarcada de Janeiro para Abril por conta da pandemia de covid-19, a 64ª cerimónia dos prémios Grammy aconteceu no dia 3 de Março em Las Vegas, nos Estados Unidos.
Inteiramente transmitida no Youtube, a cerimónia dos prémios Grammy 2022 começou com um evento de abertura e entregou de imediato algumas estatuetas a Ye (antes Kanye West) para “Melhor Performance de Rap Melódico” ao lado de The Weeknd e Lil Baby com “Hurricane”, bem como “Melhor Canção de Rap” ao lado de JAY-Z com “Jail”. Mais tarde, Louis C.K. recebeu o prémio de “Melhor Álbum de Comédia”, uma vitória controversa depois das alegações de má conduta sexual feitas contra o comediante em 2017.
O prémio mais cobiçado da noite de “Álbum do Ano” ficou para “We Are” de Jon Batiste, que ganhou quatro prémios ao todo. Olivia Rodrigo foi premiada com as estatuetas nas categorias de “Melhor Performance Pop” e “Artista Revelação”, e o grupo Silk Sonic (constituído por Bruno Mars e Anderson .Paak) ganharam nas categorias de “Música do Ano” e de “Gravação do Ano”, além de empatarem na categoria de “Melhor Performance R&B” ao lado de Jazmine Sullivan com “Pick Up Your Feelings”.
Depois de ser derrotado na categoria de “Melhor Álbum de Comédia”, Bo Burnham foi premiado com “Melhor Canção Escrita para Filme” com “All Eyes on Me”. St. Vincent venceu na categoria de “Melhor Álbum de Música Alternativa” com “Daddy’s Home” e Tyler, The Creator levou para casa o troféu de “Melhor Álbum de Rap”.

Os Foo Fighters tornaram-se na banda americana com um maior número de grammys no total, vencendo nesta edição o primeiro prémio de rock da noite de “Melhor Performance de Rock” com “Making a Fire” e de seguida o prémio de “Melhor Canção de Rock” com “Waiting on a War” e ainda “Melhor Álbum de Rock” com “Medicine at Midnight”. O recente falecido baterista da banda, Taylor Hawkins, foi homenageado no segmento “In Memoriam”, além de um tributo especial feito por Billie Eilish que usou uma t-shirt em seu tributo durante a sua performance da noite.
Já o prémio de “Melhor Banda Sonora” foi atribuído igualmente a Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross e Jon Batiste com a banda sonora do filme da Pixar “Soul” e a Carlos Rafael Rivera para a banda sonora da série “The Queen’s Gambit”. Jack Antonoff foi premiado com o Grammy de “Produtor Não-Clássico do Ano” pelo seu trabalho em álbuns de Taylor Swift, St. Vincent, Lana Del Rey, Lorde, Bleachers, e Clairo.
