Rage Against the Machine comemoram 20º aniversário do álbum de estreia com reedição
Os Rage Against the Machine (RATM) anunciaram uma reedição comemorativa do seu álbum de estreia, o homónimo “Rage Against the Machine” de 1992. A reedição “Rage Against the Machine – XX” apresenta o álbum original remasterizado, e estará disponível em três configurações diferentes: uma colectânea de luxo com CD e DVD duplo, um LP em disco de vinil de 12″ e 180 gramas, um livrete de 40 páginas e um póster de dupla face; uma edição especial com CD duplo e um DVD com seis vídeos; e apenas o CD remasterizado, com três faixas bónus.
Um dos CDs apresenta a demo original dos RATM, gravada em 1991 e vendida a $5 nos concertos da banda na altura. Nos DVDs encontramos os vídeos de três temas – “Killing In The Name“, “Bombtrack” e “Freedom” – assim como imagens dos concertos de RATM entre 1991 e 1994, onde encontramos o alinhamento completo da primeira actuação ao vivo da banda. Entre as imagens de concertos ao vivo encontramos também o concerto gratuito em agradecimento aos fãs ingleses, realizado em Finsbury Park em Londres a 6 de Junho de 2010. O agradecimento deve-se ao facto de o tema “Killing In The Name” ter sido o single número um da tabela oficial do Natal de 2009. O livrete apresenta novas notas sobre o álbum, escritas por Chuck D dos Public Enemy.
“Rage Against the Machine – XX” tem lançamento anunciado para 27 de Novembro, através Legacy Records.
